Upgrading components such as Windows, Browser, Excel, Word or any other components that need to be compatible with your Mindfull supported software can cause unexpected outages.
Please raise a ticket before upgrading components to ensure the new version is compatible.
System environmental issues
The server on which your software is running is of critical importance. It is often the case that cost cutting can be done in terms of server capability. Remember that is the server runs out of hard disk space then your software will fail. Also running short on RAM will also cause performance issues.
We recommend regular restarts to keep software running at best performance.
Depending on the use of your model, we recommend a restart perhaps on a weekly basis.

The importance of testing
Often, we see support tickets raised where a user has identified a defect in the system. After analysis we find that this situation was not tested during the UAT phase of the project. After testing has been finalized and agreed to, changes required to the system at this stage are treated as service requests.
Expiration of certificates
Your software environment may rely on multiple security certificates. Any one of these expiring can cause a major outage.
The software life-cycle
Over time things in your business change regarding process and employees. The model that was designed a long time ago slowly becomes less in sync with current requirements. We recommend that a review be conducted every few years to keep the system up-to-date.
