User has logged onto IBM Cognos Software and it has timed out (indicated by error message)
Intermittently when a user tries to authenticate to Cognos Express 10 the following error is displayed: AAA-SYS-0001 An internal error occured - Expected a single account object. The user cannot logon until the CAM_LPSvr.exe process is terminated and restarted on the Cognos Express server.
Option 1 (least disruptive to other users): Administrator needs to log onto the BI Server, open Task Manager, go to Processes, show all users and kill the users “…LPSvr.exe”
Option 2 (requires system downtime): Administrator needs to restart Cognos Express Server (using IBM Cognos Express Manager or Windows Services). Make sure all users are notified before restarting server.
